What is a pet drop-in visit?

A visit to care for your dog or cat at home. We can plan water, food, play, company, litter care, and suitable medication around your pet’s routine.

 

Do you care for cats?

Yes. Visits can include food, fresh water, litter care, play, brushing, or quiet company. Tell me what helps your cat feel comfortable.

 

Can you give my pet medication?

Medication may be possible by prior arrangement. Share the instructions and your pet’s needs before booking so I can confirm the care I can provide.

 

What happens during an overnight stay?

Overnight care is 7 PM–7 AM in your home. Daytime visits, walks, and care outside those hours are arranged and quoted separately. Include every pet and your arrival and departure dates and times.

 

Where do you provide care?

Dog walks and visits are available in South and SE Calgary; overnight care is available across Calgary. Send your neighbourhood and dates so I can confirm coverage.

 

Can we meet before care starts?

Yes. A free 15-minute Meet & Greet is required before first-time care. We’ll discuss your pet’s routine, home access, and care needs.

 

Will I receive updates?

Yes. I send photos or notes so you can hear how your pet is doing. We’ll discuss the update routine when we plan care.

 

How do I request care and confirm the price?

Contact hello@nestandnomad.ca or call/text 403-812-1079 with every pet, all dates, your neighbourhood, and the service needed. Prices are in CAD. Holiday dates, extra pets, visit length, and extra daytime care affect the quote. Nicholas confirms the total before approving care.

 

What is the cancellation policy?

For one-time paid bookings, cancel by noon the day before care starts for a full refund. Later cancellations receive 50% back for the first 7 days and 100% for later days. Agreed recurring walks/visits are fully refundable before that visit starts. Meet & Greets are free to cancel. Calgary time applies. Refunds are reviewed manually; online cancellation does not automatically refund payment. Contact bookings@nestandnomad.ca for date changes or help.
