Service Description
Our Overnight Pet & Home Sitting service offers 12 hours of in-home care, typically from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. It’s perfect for pets who need a little extra attention, supervision, or routine while you’re away — especially overnight. Whether it’s feeding the cats, monitoring a reef tank, administering medication, or just keeping the house secure, you can rest easy knowing a trusted sitter is there throughout the night. Includes: • 12 hours of continuous care in your home (approx. 7 PM – 7 AM) • Evening and morning feeding routines • Potty breaks / litter cleaning / tank observation • Medication administration • Home safety presence (lights, curtains, mail, etc.) • Complimentary updates and photos • Light tidy-up before departure
Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: 12/21/2024 By booking with Nest & Nomad Pet Care, you agree to the following policies designed to ensure safe, reliable care for your pets and peace of mind for you. — 1. Bookings & Cancellations • All services must be booked in advance. • Last-minute bookings may incur a $10 rush fee. • Cancellations require 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations are non-refundable. • Recurring bookings may be paused or cancelled with 48 hours’ notice. — 2. Service Packages • Packages (Dog Walks, Group Walks, Pet Visits) are valid for 3 months. • Unused sessions expire and are non-refundable. • Packages are non-transferable between clients or pets. — 3. Payments & Deposits • We accept secure credit/debit payment online or in person. • House Sitting requires a 1-night deposit at time of booking. • Remaining balances are due in advance or at the service start. — 4. Health & Vaccinations • All pets must be current on core vaccinations. • Records must be submitted before the first service. • You must disclose known medical or behavioral concerns. • We reserve the right to decline care for safety reasons. — 5. Meet & Greets • Required before all first-time bookings. • House Sitting Meet & Greets should occur 3–5 days before your trip for a relaxed, personalized handoff. — 6. Home Access & Security • For in-home services, we require keyless access or a lockbox. • If needed, you may supply 3 copies of your house key. • Lockboxes are available for purchase ($30 CAD). — 7. Service Area & Conditions • We serve Calgary and nearby communities. • Additional travel fees may apply for areas outside our standard zones. • Walks continue in most weather. In extreme conditions, service may be shortened or modified for pet safety. — 8. Emergencies & Liability • In the event of illness or injury, we will contact you and your preferred vet. If unavailable, we may seek emergency care at your expense. • Nest & Nomad is fully insured and bonded. — Thank you for trusting us with your pet’s care. Questions?
